Step 1: Reach out and share your vision

Step 2: Discovery consultation - getting to know your vision
After reviewing your submission, we'll schedule a consultation (in-person, video, or phone) to explore your project in detail. We'll discuss your goals, creative possibilities, and ensure my style matches your vision. I'll clarify your specific requirements, key messages or moments to capture, timeline, and deliverables.
From multi-day wilderness shoots to single-day events, we'll outline what's possible and create a rough plan I can develop to meet your specific needs.
Step 3: Bespoke proposal - Your tailored photography package
I'll turn our conversations and my thoughts into a bespoke proposal and quote for you to review.
I will develop a comprehensive plan covering optimal timing and locations for images to meet your brief, evaluate any additional equipment hire costs or limitations, create a complete timeline from travel logistics to final gallery delivery, identify required permits, assess local wildlife risks and environmental impact mitigation approaches, and establish contingency plans for weather impacts on outdoor shoots.
Step 4: Booking confirmation & pre-shoot planning
Once you're happy with the proposal, we'll secure your dates with a signed contract. Consider your professional photographer officially reserved! We'll also start the exciting pre-production planning, including location research, weather monitoring for outdoor shoots, and equipment preparation.
Step 5: The Photography Session: Where the magic happens
This is the fun part! Whether hiking to remote landscapes, documenting conservation efforts, capturing travel adventures, or photographing events, I'll create compelling images that tell your story.
My professional equipment and expertise ensure high-quality results in any conditions.
Step 6: Image Curation and Delivery
After the shoot, I carefully select the best images to meet your needs. Since I capture high-quality images in-camera, I can deliver a small selection of shots soon after the shoot if needed for urgent publication, with the full collection following shortly after.
You'll receive a private online gallery with high-resolution JPEG files. You can download various sizes, select favourites, share with others.
Step 7: Follow Up
After delivery, I’ll check in to ensure everything meets your expectations and offer support for printing, publishing, or archiving if required.
Many clients return for seasonal shoots, new destinations, or ongoing campaigns.
