Cancellation Policy
Please ensure you have read this page before booking onto my workshops. All of the locations and routes chosen can work in inclement weather, but this page is all about being prepared for the unpredictable, and being transparent about what will happen if I'm unable to run a workshop due to illness or other reasons.
If you need to cancel attending a workshop
Due to limited spaces on my workshops, if you need to cancel please let me know so at least four weeks before by emailing us at hello@photographsbytom.com
The workshops have been planned in such a way to be possible in inclement weather (with the exceptions mentioned below in the ‘if I need to cancel’ section). I do not offer refunds. If you cancel more than 4 weeks before the date of the workshop you will be sent a voucher to use within 1 year minus a £5 admin fee. This should enable you to re-book onto a future event if there is space remaining, or to use it to purchase products on my site.
Refunds or vouchers for cancellations are not given within 4 weeks of the date of a workshop. In this instance I recommend that you try to resell/pass on your ticket yourself to someone else. If you do this please let me know who and provide contact details so that I can ensure they have all the information required about the workshop.
If I need to cancel running a workshop
Dartmoor’s weather is notoriously changeable. Whilst the workshop is able to go ahead in inclement weather more severe conditions will be unpleasant to be out in. Therefore if strong winds, heavy rain or weather warnings are forecast I may look to reschedule a workshop date for the group’s safety.
I run these workshops alone, therefore if I'm unwell I will be unable to lead your session.
If I have to postpone a workshop I will let you know 12-24 hours prior to the event taking place, please ensure you have provided an email address and mobile number when booking.
If I have to postpone I will send you a voucher to use towards another workshop within one year of the date of the postponement.
I will do my best to ensure there is an alternative date to book onto within the next 12 month period, however I cannot promise it will be at the same time of year or same location as the postponed one.
Refunds
Sorry, but I do not offer refunds unless under exceptional circumstances. If a refund is issued it will be minus a £5 admin fee.
